The first horses representing France at the 2019 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses have been selected. Three horses achieved the minimum qualification standard at the one and only French WCYH selection trial for 5- and 6-year olds.

The French selection process for the World Championships in Ermelo are done by two organisations. The "Societé Hippique Française" is in charge of picking the 5 and 6-year olds, while the French Federation will be in charge of the selection of 7-year olds.

The first and only qualifier for 5 and 6-year olds took place at the national show in Jardy, France, on 1 - 2 June 2019. Preference would be given to the French bred and registered horses. Just three horses achieved the minimum standard.

The qualified horses are:

6-year olds
