Born and bred in the Western part of France, First Time d'Echallens is a gorgeous gelding, which has been broken in by French horseman, Sébastien Jaulin, at the prestigious stud and training centre, Haras de Hus.
In his young horse years, First Time has been trained under high level supervision and with punctual sessions from Helen Langehanenberg, Hans Heinrich Meyer zu Strohen and Jörg Dietrich. Since 2017, he is trained at Haras de Hus by Guillaume Recoing, international dressage rider.
First Time has 3 excellent gaits : a perfectly clear walk that is ground covering but also easy to collect. He has an uphill canter and a very good quality trot.
Like his sire Damsey, he has a real ability to collect and to shift his weight towards hind legs. So he is really at ease to achieve piaffe or the pirouettes. He relaxes easily in his neck and is always in a steady contact. Last but not least, he has a high rideablity and the right attitude on show grounds.
First Time is currently trained at small tour level.
He goes hacking once a week, alone or in company, out in the country side as well as on the beach. He is easy to handle in the stables, in the walker, to clip, to transport in a lorry or trailer.
First Time will be the perfect ride for any ambitious junior, young rider or adult amateur rider searching for a reliable, high quality and sound partner. As First Time can be ridden with a snaffle as with a double bridle, he can also be paired with a children rider who plans to evolve to junior class and more.
Full set of clean x-rays from end of April 2019 is available on request. The x-rays and the vet-check have been approved by Dr Denoix from Cirale in Normandy, with a five star ranking. All blood tests have been produced at Dr BÖSE's laboratory in Germany and are all perfect and acceptable for export.
Located in France, at Haras de Hus, Petit Mars - 44390.
