Eight Dressage Colts Accepted for Third Phase of 2019 Belgian Warmblood Stallion Licensing

Eight dressage bred colts have been accepted to move on to the third and final phase of the 2019 Belgian Warmblood Stallion Licensing.

The second phase of the BWP stallion licensing took place in Azelhof in Lier, Belgium, on 17 - 19 January 2019.

A smaller group of dressage bred colts was presented there, the majority of them KWPN registered or bred. In the end eight colts received the green light to move one phase further. One of them is BWP registered, the others are all registered in foreign breed societies.

Interestingly of the three offspring that Heros Begijnhoeve produced in 2016 (two colts and one filly), both colts have been accepted for the third phase!

Rico (OLD, by Rosengold x Sandro Hit) - Owner: Stal van de Sande

The third and final phase of the 2019 BWP Stallion Licensing will be in Moorsele on 14 - 16 March 2019.
