German Dressage Squads for 2019 Announced

The Dressage Selection Committee of the German Olympic Equestrian Committee (DOKR) has announced the updated dressage squads for 2019.

The new comer in the perspective squad is the 31-year old Frederic Wandres who has ridden himself in the picture aboard Hof Jasselmann's Duke of Britain (by Dimaggio x Rubinstein). The pair was fifth in the 2017 Louisdor Cup Finals for German Developing Grand Prix horses and in 2018 made its debut at international Grand Prix competitions with most recently a victory at the World Cup Qualifier in Zakrzow, Poland. 

The German Dressage Squads for 2019 include:

A-Squad (Olympic squad):

  • Jessica von Bredow-Werndl - TSF Dalera BB and Zaire-E
  • Helen Langehanenberg - Damsey FRH
  • Sönke Rothenberger - Cosmo
  • Dorothee Schneider - Sammy Davis jr., Showtime FRH and Faustus
  • Isabell Werth - Bella Rose, Don Johnson FRH, Emilio and Weihegold OLD

B-squad (Perspective squad):

  • Anabel Balkenhol - Heuberger TSF
  • Jan-Dirk Gießelmann - Real Dancer FRH
  • Kathleen Keller  - San Royal
  • Ingrid Klimke - Franziskus
  • Fabienne Müller-Lütkemeier - Fabregaz
  • Frederic Wandres -  Duke of Britain
  • Benjamin Werndl - Daily mirror

Under 25-squad:
