Sezuan's Donnerhall, High Scorer at 2018 Schlieckau 50-Day Stallion Performance Test

Sezuan's Donnerhall became the high scoring stallion at the 50-day stallion performance testing in Schlieckau, which began on 9 October 2018 and concluded on 27 November 2018.

Thirty-four stallions participated.

Paul Schockemöhle's Oldenburg bred Sezuan's Donnerhall (by Sezuan x Sir Donnerhall) became the top scorer with an overall total of 9.19 points. The dark bay colt got 9 and 9.25 for character, 9.5 for willingness to work, 9 for trot, 10 for canter, and 8.5 for walk. He further earned 8 for rideabiity, 8.5 for jumping and 9.5 for general impression and rideability under a guest judge rider.

The second highest scoring stallion was the 2017 Westfalian Licensing Champion Fashion in Black (by For Romance) with 8.89 points in total. The black stallion for 9.25 and 9 for character, 9.5 for willingness to work, 9 for trot and canter, 8.5 for walk, 9 for rideability, 7 for jumping, 9.5 for general impression and 9.25 under the test rider.

The third best scoring colt was the Trakehner bred Dezember (by Herakles) who earned 8.65 points in total. The colt got 9.5 for character and willingness to work, 8.5 for walk and trot, 8 for canter, 9.5 for rdeiability, 7.5 for jumping and 9 for general impression and rideability under the guest judge rider.

A close fourth was Desparcito (by Don Nobles) with a total of 8.56, while a nameless De Niro out of Thery (by Totilas), bred and owned by Gestut Lewitz, got 8.51 in total.

Several colts failed the testing with scores below 7.5: a 3-year old Hanoverian colt by Finest x Rubin Royal (7.47), Blackburn AT (by Brisbane) got stuck at 7.19, a DSP registered Cadeau Noir x Samenco II K finished on 6.92, while Trendsetter (by Totilas x Contendro) only got 6.95.
