Dutch Team Selected for 2018 World Equestrian Games

The Dutch Equestrian Federation has announced the team that will represent The Netherlands at the 2018 World Equestrian Games in Tryon, U.S.A. on 12 - 15 September 2018. 

Based on the performances of the riders at the two observation trial in Rotterdam and at the 2018 Dutch Championships this weekend, as well as scores at CDI's this season, team trainer Rien van der Schaft selected the following team of four combinations.

There are no surprises in the Dutch WEG team: 

  • Edward Gal - Zonik
  • Hans Peter Minderhoud - Dream Boy
  • Emmelie Scholtens - Apache
  • Madeleine Witte-Vrees - Cennin

The team reserves are Adelinde Cornelissen (Aqiedo) and Diederik van Silfhout (horse not named, Four seasons or Expression).
