Australian veterinarian, dressage rider, stallion owner and horse breeder Amanda Shoobridge (née Crestani) passed away in London on Sunday 22 July 2018. 

Shoobridge had traveled to the U.K. to attend an international veterinary conference, but became unwell. Upon arrival in London she became unwell, lapsed into unconsciousness and passed away. The cause of death has been determined as bacterial meningitis.

Amanda (38) was owner and CEO of Revelwood Stud in Somersby on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia. She invested time and money into bringing top dressage pony and warmblood stallions to Australia, including OO Seven and Stedinger, and was an active competitor on the national scene. She was a devoted mother to her 8-year old daughter Annabel.

"Amanda and David's daughter Annabel and partner Peter Wilkins are supported through this difficult time," read the offficial statement from Amanda’s immediate family.
