Kito and Bonito Win 2018 Ingolstadt Bundeschampionate Qualifier

The 5-year old Kito and the 6-year old Bonito  became the winners of the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the regional show in Ingolstadt, Germany, on Saturday 7 July 2018. 

Ten combinations contested the L-level dressage horse test for 5-year olds and judges Uta Härlein, Reinhard Seim and Jürgen Hagenheimer rewarded Lisa Müller and her Gut Wettlkam's Kito with the winning score of 8.0. The Oldenburg gelding by Decurio x Fidermark got 8 for walk and canter, 9 for trot, 7 for submission and 8 for general impression. Alexandra Sessler and Anton Herre's Wurttemberger bred Dun Dee (by Dimaggio x Casparino) were second with 7.8. The dark bay gelding earned 8 for walk and canter, 7.5 for trot and submission and 8 for general impression. 

Six horses contested the M-level dressage horse test for 6-year olds and judges Hagenheimer, Seim and Michael Hubrich saw the winner in Julia Hamberger on the Schwaiganger state stud owned Bavarian stallion Bonito (by Boston x Spielberg). He scored 8 for walk and canter, 8.5 for trot, 7.5 for submission and 8.5 for general impression to total a winning 8.1. Susanne Peter and Christine Melsheimer's German Sport Horse bred Quadera W (by Quadroneur x Florestan) landed second place with 7.9. The mare got 8.5 for walk, 7.5 for trot and canter and 8 for submission and general impression.
