The 5-year old Diva Georgina and the 6-year old Flying Dancer became the winners of the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the regional show at castle park Monrepos in Ludwigsburg, Germany, on Saturday 16 June 2018.
Ten starters gathered for the L-level dressage horse test for 5-year olds and Australian Hayley Beresford won the class on Helen Batson's Wurttemberger bred mare Diva Georgina (by Don Juan de Hus x Don Crusador). The pair scored 7.7 which did not suffice for a qualification for Warendorf as the minimum score has to be 8.0. Laura Strobel and Dorothee Schneider's Trakehner mare Silverline (by Impetus x Handryk) was the runner up with 7.6.
Dorothee Schneider put a winning top score on the board in the M-level dressage horse test for 6-year olds. Aboard Wilhelm Hoffrogge's Oldenburg gelding Flying Dancer OLD (by Furst Romancier x Sir Donnerhall) she scored 8.7 and stayed well ahead of second placed pair Sabrina Bosch on Hans-Peter Bosch's Wurttemberger bred Florenzo HJ (by Furst Fugger x San Remo). They were second with 8.0 and tied with Hans-Peter Bauer on Marion Mayer's Oldenburg stallion Minias (by Millennium x Don Vino).
