Belgian Young Rider Hannelore Beckers has acquired the 11-year old Dutch warmblood gelding Cocksdorp Texel as her future Under 25 horse.

The bay Cocksdorp Texel is bred by Wim van der Linde and is by Lingh out of Silithyia Tewel (by Democraat x Joost).

Under Lotje Schoots the gelding has been competed at national Grand Prix level in The Netherlands. In 2014 the pair won the Dutch Championships at Z2 level and rode in one international: the 2016 CDI Nieuw en St. Joosland at small tour level.

The rising 22-year old Hannelore Beckers made her international show debut in 2017 at young riders level aboard the 16-year old Belgian warmblood gelding Crack C van het Vijverbos (by Don Renoir x Feinschnitt I van de Richter).

The combination competed at CDI's in Pompadour, Diepenbeek, Waregem and Le Mans and represented Belgium at the 2017 European Young Riders Championships in Roosendaal, where they finished 14th in the Kur to Music Finals. They won gold at the 2017 Belgian Young Riders Championships.

A senior since 2018, Beckers had to put her move to the Under 25 division on hold as she sustained a ruptured ligament in April. She trains with Camilla Sygall and Piet Lenskens.
