2017 PSI Auction horse Semias now winning under Heiner Schiergen

The 5-year old Semias and the 6-year old Cinnemon became the winners of the two Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the regional show in Unna-Massen on 3 - 4 May 2018. 

Eighteen combinations gathered for the 5-year old L-level dressage horse test, which was judged by Wolfgang Egbers, Peter Mannheims and Bernd-Dieter Althüser.

Heiner Schiergen topped the board on the PSI auction horse Semias (by Sir Donnerhall x Fidermark). Owned by Heinz Bellen, the Westfalian gelding scored a total of 8.5 and got 9 for walk, 8.5 for trot and canter, 8 for submission and 8.5 for general impression. Helen Langehanenberg's assistant trainer Sabrina Gessmann and her boss' Westfalian mare Drama Queen (by Devereaux x Louis le Bon) finished second with 8.3. The chestnut mare got 8 for walk, 9 for trot, 8.5 for canter, 8 for submission and 8.5 for general impression. Antonia Gotzens and the Rhinelander gelding Flawless Diamond (by Feedback x Rohdiamant) were third with 8.3. The dark bay gelding got 7 for walk, 9 for trot, 8 for canter and 8.5 for submission and general impression. 

Only eight pairs contested the 6-year old Dressage horse class which was judged by Wolfgang Schierloh, Peter Mannheims and Heinz-Holger Lammers. 

Professional Grand Prix rider Marcus Hermess aced the class aboard the Baumgurtel family's Oldenburg mare Cinnemon (by Cennin x Rohdiamant) with an 8.5 score.  The chestnut mare got 9 for walk, 8 for trot, and 8.5 for canter, submission and general impression. Under 25 rider Bianca Nowag steered Johannes Westendarp's Oldenburg mare Fiesta Danza (by Furstenball x Weltmeyer) to a second place on 8.0. The dark bay mare got 8.5 for walk, 9 for trot and canter, 7.5 for submission and 8 for general impression. Former young rider Leonie Richter tied in second place on 8.0 with her own Hanoverian gelding Quality Quinzy (by Quaterhall x Wilawander xx). The liver chestnut gelding got 7.5 for walk, 9 for trot, 8 for canter, 7 for submission and 8.5 for general impression.
