Dutch Olympian Hans Peter Minderhoud has received the ride on the 8-year old KWPN licensed stallion Ferdeaux.

Ferdeaux is by Bordeaux out of Part Two (by Ferro x Zonneglans). He is owned by the breeder G. van Esterik in partnership with stallion owner Van Uytert.

Ferdeaux has been trained and competed by Kirsten Brouwer the past three years.  Under Brouwer the bay stallion finished 10th at the 2015 World Young Horse Championships and second at the 2015 Pavo Cup Finals. He missed out on the 2016 World Championships, but returned in 2017 as a 7-year old and finished 11th in the Finals.

Due to the ongoing issues between the Brouwer family and Platinum Stables, Ferdeaux was moved back home to Van Uytert's stallion station in the winter and was temporarily ridden by 26-year old Annika Roodhart.

Hans Peter Minderhoud will now continue the training of the stallion towards FEI level.
