Canadian Grand Prix rider Alexandra Duncan has acquired the 6-year old Oldenburg licensed stallion Finery (by Furstenball x Diamond Hit x Sandro).

Finery is bred by Otto Langemeyer in Germany and is out of Sanetta, who also produced the licensed stallion Don Gigolo (by Dimaggio), and sport horses Deutschmark, Double D, and Ruby Golightly.

The black stallion was approved at the 2014 Oldenburg Saddle Licensing in Vechta, where he was presented by Victoria Michalke and Felix Tiemann. He went on to do his 30-day stallion performance test in Schlieckau in the 2015 and scored 7.72 points (8.03 for dressage, 7.25 for show jumping).

He sold to Anne Howard in the U.S.A. and stood at stud and was in training with Michael Bragdell at Hilltop Farm. At the 2016 Devon Breed Show he became the Champion Stallion and Reserve Grand Champion. At the 2017 U.S. Young Horse Championships in Wayne, Bragdell steered Finery to a bronze medal in the 6-year old division.

After the summer Championships Howard decided to sell the stallion and moved him to Caroline Roffman's sales yard Lionshare Dressage in Wellington, Florida.  Wellington based Canadian Alexandra Duncan has become the new owner of the horse.
