The Dutch Equestrian Federation has set the dates for the 2018 Dutch Dressage Championships, which will be hosted at the KNHS headquarters in Ermelo, The Netherlands.

For the first time in three years, the 2018 Dutch Championships will not coincide with the CDIO Aachen (18 - 22 July 2018). The 2018 Dutch Championships will be hosted on 27 - 29 July 2018, the weekend before the World Young Horse Championships in Ermelo.

The 2018 Dutch Nationals will feature classes for the junior, young rider, Under 25 and senior Grand Prix riders. The event will also count as final Dutch team selection trial for the 2018 World Equestrian Games in Tryon.

"The Dutch Championships will be five weeks before the departure to the WEG in Tryon," said KNHS Technical director Maarten van der Heijden. "The Championships will be the final observation trial for the WEG, which start for the dressage riders on 12 September 2018."
