Eyleen, Price Highlight of the 2017 Westfalian Autumn Elite Auction

The 3-year old Eyleen (by Escolar x Laurentianer) became the price highlight of the 2017 Westfalian Autumn Elite Auction in Munster, Germany, on 1 October 2017.

The 2017 Bundeschampionate bronze medal winning Eyleen, bred and owned by Josef and Christiane Ulmer, sold for 150,000 euro to North America. Other reports state the mare sold to Austria.

The second most expensive horse at this auction was the 7-year old Farbenspiel (by Florenciano x Dimension), owned by the Westfalian State stud. He sold for 120,000 euro.

The 3-year old liver chestnut mare Dior (by Don Nobless x Laudabilis), bred and owned by Maria Luesmann, sold for 96,000 euro.  Bernd Richter's 6-year old black mare Valldemossa (by Vitalis x Hotline) switched owners for 82,000 euro. 

Scalino (by Sir Heinrich x Ehrentusch) sold to a German client for 76,000 euro. Edmee (by Ecolar x Likoto xx) sold for 70,000 euro, Grey Galaxy (by Grey Flanell x Daddy Cool) found new owners for 52,000 euro.

Eight foals were offered for auction and the top sellers was the filly Santa Maria (by Sir Heinrich x Imperio), which sold for 12,000 euro.  Etoscha (by Escolar x Sir Heinrich) switched owners for 10,000 euro. 

The average price for a sport horse at this auction was 30,685 euro. The average price for a foal was 6,438 euro.
