The 5-year old Cap Amour and the 6-year olds Santo Dottore OLD, Quattromani and Baldessarini E were the big winners of the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the regional dressage show hosted at horse dealer Arnold Winter's Wintermuhle yard in Neu-Anspach, Germany, on 27 July 2017.
The Spanish Judit Sarda steered Gestut Sprehe's Hanoverian stallion Cap Amour (by Christ x De Niro) to victory in the 5-year old division with an 8.0 total score. The black stallion got 7.5 for walk, 8.5 for trot and canter, 7.5 for submission and 8.0 for general impression. Swiss Raphaelle Reber and Samuel Schatzmann's Voyageur (by Vitalis x Levados) landed second place on 7.6. The dark bay Westfalian stallion scored 6.5 for walk, 8.5 for trot and canter, 7 for submission and 7.5 for general impression.
Three horses won the 6-year old division with the same score of 8.0. Katrin Burger and her Oldenburg stallion Santo Dottore OLD (by Sir Donnerhall x Rubinstein) scored 8.5 for walk and trot, 7.5 for canter and submission and 8 for general impression. Marion Wiebusch and Massener Heide's Oldenburg stallion Quattromani OLD (by Quaterback x Latimer) earned 7.5 for walk, 8 for trot, canter and submission and 8.5 for general impression. Christian de Bruijn and the Oldenburg mare Baldessarini E (by Bordeaux x Licotus) got 7.5 for walk, 8.5 for trot and canter, 7.5 for submission and 8 for general impression from the judges.
