Finnish Team Selected for 2017 European Dressage Championships

The Finnish equestrian federation has announced the team that will represent Finland at the 2017 European Dressage Championships in Gothenburg, Sweden, on 22 - 26 August 2017.

Finland will be fielding a team of four riders and is headed by chef d'equipe Mia Stellberg.

At the moment Finland does not have a team trainer, as Emile Faurie resigned in the spring, but the team riders will be assisted by their personal coaches. 

The Finnish team includes:

  • Elisabet Ehrnrooth – Wizard II
  • Mikaela Lindh – Bellissimo L
  • Niina Nilosaari – Kom Ragdoll
  • Terhi Stegars – Thai Pee, reserve horse Axis TSF

The reserve rider is Henri Ruoste (Dixiland, Huracan)
