Swedish Horses Selected for 2017 World Young Horse Championships

2017 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses

The Swedish equestrian federation has announced the horses that will represent Sweden at the 2017 World Championships for young dressage horses in Ermelo, The Netherlands, on 3 - 6 August 2017. The federation was able to make its pick after the CDIO Falsterbo where national young horse classes were held.

The Falsterbo showed served as a final observation and selection trial after the Swedish selectors drafted a short list after two training camps and selection events.

The Swedish horses for Ermelo are:

5-year olds

  • Astoria (by Sir Donnerhall II x Quaterback) - rider: Jeanna Högberg
  • Bravour  (by Hermes x Prestige VDL) - rider: Karolin Sjöland
  • Dragon Welt  (by Dancier x Weltmeyer) - rider:  Ida-Linn Lundholm
  • Touchdown  (by Quaterback x Sack) - rider: Philipp Ruwe (GER)

6-year olds
