British Horses Selected for 2017 World Young Horse Championships

2017 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses

The British Equestrian Federation and British Dressage have announced the horses that have qualified and been nominated to represent Great Britain at the 2017 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Ermelo, the Netherlands, 3 – 6 August 2017.

Britian selected two 5-year olds, two 6-year olds and one 7-year olds for Ermelo. British young rider team member Charlotte Fry has one horse in each age class.

The British horses are

5-year olds

  • Amy Woodhead with Emma Jane Blundell's Mount St John Zonetta (by  Zonik x Riccione)
  • Charlotte Fry with Anne van Olst’s Don Joe (by Diego x Lord Leatherdale)

6-year olds

  • Tom Goode with Ulla Smirnova’s Saint Julian (by Sandro Hit x Donnerhall
  • Charlotte Fry with Anne van Olst’s Graaf Leatherdale T (by Lord Leatherdale x Kennedy)

7-year olds

  • Charlotte Fry with Anne van Olst’s Fendi T (by Negro x Lester)

Charlotte Fry will also compete in the CDI1* for approved stallions with Anne van Olst’s Everdale (by Lord Leatherdate x Negro)
