Elahe Ramezani to Represent Iran at 2017 World Young Horse Championships

2017 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses

Iranian dressage rider Elahe Ramezani has been nominated as an individual rider to compete at the 2017 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Ermelo, The Netherlands, on 3 - 6 August 2017. Ramezani already made her debut at the WCYH last year and will now return with the same horse.

The 27-year old Ramezani will be showing the Westfalian bred Bellmeier (by Belissimo M x Weltmeyer) in the 7-year old division.  

At the 2016 World Championships, Ramezani and Bellmeier were 27th in the preliminary Test (72.80 pts) and 22nd in the consolation finals (68.20 pts). 

Ramezani is based near Vienna, Austria and is coached by Florian Zimmermann. She will be giving it her all in Ermelo this year.

"Excited, happy, over the moon, dizzy, queasy and very nervous already," said Elahe. "but the most prevailing feeling I have now is gratitude, gratitude to the wonderful people and the horse that made it possible."
