2017 CDI Fritzens

Forty-six riders from 18 nations and 73 horses have been entered to compete at the 23rd Manfred & Hilde Swarovski Memorial Show at the 2017 CDI Fritzens on 30 June - 2 July. Set at the beautiful Schindlhof equestrian centre in the Tyrolean Alps, the 2017 CDI Fritzens boast a spectacular entry field.

Alongside the world number one Isabell Werth, Austria's Victoria Max-Theurer has only just started working on her come back after almost one year absence from the show ring. Max-Theurer won the Manfred & Hilde Swarovski Challenge Trophy a record four times and is eager to compete in Fritzens again.

"Top conditions, top footing, top stabling and top sport," said an ecstatis Max-Theurer who won the Austrian Champion's title 13 times. "The love for detail makes everything at Schindlhof not only professional but also familiar.  That is why all the world's top riders come here."

Victoria is preparing Blind DAte for Austrian team selection for the European Championships in Gothenburg at the end of August. The mare had a one-year break from competition. "We want to gain some ring experience again and continue the good scores we achieved in Munich as a step towards the European Championships," Victoria explained.

Show host Evelyn Haim-Swarovski, who was a member of the Austrian team at the 2015 European Championships in Aachen, will not be competing at her home show. After placing fourth in the Grand Prix with 68.74% at the CDI Achleiten, she gets a short break from showing.

"We're focusing ourselves fully on the second team qualifier mid July at the 2017 CDN Cappeln," Evelyn explained. "To compete at home is quite stressful and the preparation for Dorina is too short."
