2017 Bundeschampionate Qualifier

At the 2017 Grafschafter Horse Sport Festival in Haftenkamp, Germany, one Bundeschampionate qualification class was being held for 6-year old dressage horses. On Friday 19 May 2017 eighteen horses competed in the M-level dressage horse test to earn a ticket to the Bundeschampionate in Warendorf in September.

Frederic Wandres and Gestut Ammerland's Oldenburg stallion Fior (by Furstenball x Sandro Hit) reigned sumpreme with an 8.4 total score, staying far ahead of all competition. Judges Lammers, Scheermann, Straube-Thiel and Egbers rewarded the dark bay stallion with 8 for walk, 9 for trot, 8.5 for canter, 8 for submission and 8.5 for general impression.

Young Rider Alexa Westendarp  steered her father's Hanoverian mare Four Seasons (by Furstenball x Fidertanz) to a second place with 8.1. The black mare got 8 for walk, 9 for trot, 7 for canter, 8.5 for submission and 8 for general impression.

Four combinations tied in third place with 8.0: Claudia Ruscher and her father's Holsteiner stallion Champagner (by Catoo x Aljano) got 7.5 for walk, 8 for trot, 9 for canter, 7.5 for submission and 8 for general impression. Melanie Tewes and Dressage Performance Centre Lodbergen's Oldenburg gelding Faradai (by Furstenball x Lanciano) earned 7.5 for walk, 8.5 for trot, 8 for canter, submission and general impression. Tessa Frank and Helmut von Fircks' Hanoverian stallion First Choice (by Fidertanz x De Niro) got 8 for walk, 8.5 for trot, 7.5 for canter and submission and 8.5 for general impression. Frederic Wandres and Hof Kasselmann's Furstenfee (by Furstenball x Donnerhall) scored 8 for walk, 8.5 for trot, 7.5 for canter and submission and 8.5 for general impression.
