Anna Nolte's Hofgut Rosenau and Belgian Grand Prix rider Carl Cuypers have parted ways after a five-year collaboration. Cuypers was managing director at this private yard in Dreiech, Germany and he coached Nolte.

Hofgut Rosenau is a brand new equestrian facility which Hahn airline ceo Hans Nolte built for his wife Anna Nolte (née Jaworski).

Mentored by 2006 Belgian WEG team rider Carl Cuypers, Anna Nolte acquired an impressive string of horses in a short period of time: they acquired Minna Telde's youngster Bilan (by Bocelli x Donnerschlag), which Cuypers competed at the 2014 World Young Horse Championships in Verden.  In December 2013 they bought Daniele Dierk's then 8-year old Oldenburg World Royal (by World of Dream x Rubin Royal) in Australia and in Germany they sourced Jochen Arl's Don Ulrik (by Don Schufro x Urprinz) and Julia Mestern's eventer Feenzauber (by Connery x Sancoussi). In January 2015 Nolte bought the rising Grand Prix horse Pentimento (by Prince Thatch xx x De Niro).

Originally from Kazachstan but emigrated to Germany in 1993, the now 32-year old Nolte-Jaworski made her international show debut at the 2014 CDI Perl aboard Sir Arthur TSF (by Buddenbrock x Consul) which she competed in the Medium Tour. Aboard Pentimento, Nolte made her big CDI break through at Grand Prix level.

Their last start, though, was in September 2016 at the CDI Darmstadt, where the pair scored 69.100% in the Grand Prix and 70.373% in the Special. The 2015 Nurnberger Burgpokal finalist Bilan, who was hailed as a future Grand Prix star, was also surprisingly sold to Hungary in January 2017.

"The Belgian Grand Prix rider Carl Cuypers has gone independent. The 39-year old WEG participant of 2006 wants to focus on his own sport career in the future," Hofgut Rosenau's representative told Eurodressage. Anna has not yet decided on a new trainer. "Anna will disclose her decision regarding her future set-up in due time."

About the end of the collaboration, Cuypers told Eurodressage that "now the time has come for me to work on my own sport career. We are and will be good friends. This is very important to me. I'm curious what the future will bring."

Carl has no horses of his own and will need to find new employment.
