Revised 2017 World Dressage Ranking Published, Tuesday 2 May Version Withdrawn

The Fédération Équestre International published a revised version of the World Individual Dressage Rankings on their website on 5 May 2017 after having posted an eleven-month version on 2 May 2017.

The ranking published on Tuesday 2 May  2017 were for an eleven month period [1/6/2016 to 1/5/2017] whereas the rankings published on the website on 5 May are for the standard twelve month period [1/5/2016 to 30/4/2017].  

A spokesperson for the FEI confirmed that FEI dressage department published the rankings on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 "in order to include as many events which ended 1 May".  The FEI spokesperson subsequently confirmed that the FEI dressage department and their IT team had addressed the issue with the twelve month ranking period published on their website today.

The top sixteen combinations remain in the same order but some of their points totals have changed.  There are a number of ranking changes for others.  Kasey Perry-Glass (Goerklintgaards Dublet) [USA] ranked 19th on Tuesday moves up two places to 17th.  Ireland's Judy Reynolds (Vancouver K) is down to 18th from her ranking on Tuesday of 17th.  German rider Jessica Von Bredow-Werndl (Zaire-E) is down one place to 19th.  Compared to their rankings published on Tuesday, Denmark's Svane Rikke (Finckenstein TSF) is down five places to 41st and Great Britain's Michael Eilberg (Marakov) is down six to 49th.  

The top seven is unaltered with Isabell Werth (Weihegold), Kristina Bröring-Sprehe (Desperados), Dorothee Schneider (Showtime), Laura Graves (Verdades), Carl Hester (Nip Tuck), Isabell Werth (Emilio) and Severo Jurado Lopez (Lorenzo) at the top.
