The World's number two Grand Prix combination Kristina Bröring-Sprehe and Desperados have withdrawn from competing at the 2017 CDI Hagen, the outdoor season kick off event in Germany.

On Tuesday and Wednesday 25 - 26 April 2017, the 16-year old Hanoverian licensed stallion Desperados (by De Niro x Wolkenstein II) was still fit and activeily being trained at a special two-day session with German team trainer Monica Theodorescu.

However, during transport back home the stallion sustained a minor injury. Not to take any chances for the recovery, the black stallion has been withdrawn from competing at the 2017 CDI Hagen.

Desperados' outdoor show start has now been scheduled for the CDI Munich in May.
