The Austrian Equestrian Federation (OEPS) has disclosed the squads for 2017 covering all levels from FEI pony sport to Grand Prix. Only one rider has made the Austrian Grand Prix A-squad, Victoria Max-Theurer.
The group of senior Grand Prix riders have been split into three squads based on their performance level. Austria also has a special squad for small tour riders.
For the youth riders, there is just one squad per age category with no divisions between the scoring achievements and potential of the riders.
Several riders are submitted into different across the divisions. Diana Porsche is submitted in the young riders, small tour and under 25 squad. Timna Zach in the Under 25 and senior B- and C-squad.
