Three dressage bred colts were selected to move on to the third phase of the 2017 Belgian Warmblood (BWP) Stallion Licensing after inspection during the second phase of the 2017 BWP Stallion Licensing last weekend.

The 2017 BWP Stallion Licensing kicked off at equestrian centre Azelhof in Lier, Belgium, on 18 - 21 January 2017. Out of the 8 dressage stallions entered to participate in the licensing (first phase), the committee picked just three to move on to the third phase.

The three dressage colts that received a positive verdict are BWP, KWPN and German bred.  They are:

  • Jackson Begijnhoeve (by Apache x Flemmingh) - Owner: Stoeterij De Begijnhoeve
  • Flynn (by Fahrenheit x Sir Oldenburg) - Owner: Roshoeve - van den Oetelaar
  • Ons Noud (by Firestone x Trento B) - Owner: Roshoeve - van den Oetelaar

The third and final phase of the 2017 BWP licensing will be an under saddle presentation at Stable Hulsterlo in Meerdonk, Belgium, on 16 - 17 March 2017.
