Balous Bellini and Colany C Stand Out at 2016 South German Sport Horse Stallion Licensing

The jumper colt Balous Bellini was named champion of the 2016 South German Sport Horse (ZfdP) Stallion Licensing held in Kreuth, Germany, on 9 - 11 December 2016.


Forty-one colts were originally entered for this licensing and the collection included a mixture of dressage and show jumping bred stallions.

The best dressage bred and Zfdp registered stallion was the tobiano Colany C (by Cadeau Noir x Samenco K x Ilasso), bred and owned by Yvonne Cybulla. 

Three dressage bred colts were named premium, including Colany C and the already approved Fidelio Royal, Ehrensache. Nine dressage stallions in total were licensed in Kreuth.

The licensed dressage colts were:

  • Colany C (by Cadeau Noir x Samenco K x Ilasso) - premium 
  • Fidelio Royal (by For Romance x Rubin Royal x Wenzel) - premium
  • Ehrensache (by Ehrenstolz x Quaterback x Cor de Angelo) - premium
  • Midnight Dancer (by Partout x Mon Plaisir x Herzzauber)
  • Liegnitz II (by Lahnstein x Lehnbach x Favory AA)
  • Superdry (by Sir Heinrich x Warkant x Arogno)
  • Vino Roso (by Van Vivaldi x Furst Heinrich x Ramiro's Son II)
  • nn (by Destano x Swarovski x Trouble Maker xx)
  • O'Malley (by Letter of Marque xx x Gribaldi x Opernball)
