Helen Langehanenberg's small tour ride Diamigo, a 9-year old Oldenburg gelding by Dimaggio x Freudenprinz x Rousseau, has been sold German FEI rider Anna Athens.

Diamigo is bred by Gabriele Mertens-Gahlen, who owned Helen Langehanenberg's first interational Grand Prix horse Responsible. Diamigo is out of the same dam, Frappant, as Responsible.

Helen's sponsor Margit Eisner acquired the dark bay gelding as a youngster and under Langehanenberg the horse became successful, placing sixth at the 2013 World Young Horse Championships in Verden. In 2014 Helen rode the horse at small tour level and competed it at the CDI's in Aachen and Verden. The duo made its national grand Prix level debut in January 2016. Their last show together was in Elmlohe in July, where they won the Intermediaire II.

The Isernlohn based Anna Athens has now acquired Diamigo as her future top horse. Athens is the daughter of Gudrun Winner-Athens, who runs the big German transport company Winner. Anna has been competing Climent and Dear Darling at small tour and A-level this year.

Athens and Diamigo have made their show debut at the Ankum Riding Club indoor competition this weekend in the Developing PSG horse class.
