Finalists Announced for 2016 German Developing Pony Rider Championship

The finalists for the 2016 German Developing Pony Rider Championship, which will take place in Verden, Germany on 18 - 20 November 2016, have been announced.

Twenty pairs have been selected to compete in this Championship following a selection trial and training seminar at the German FN headquarters in Warendorf.

The German Developing Pony Rider Championship has been created to promote the transition of young pony riders to FEI pony level and to scout for talented pony riders with a potential to make it on a German pony team. It is sponsored by the Liselott Rheinberger Foundation, which supports the development of youth dressage riders in Germany.

The finalists for the 2016 Championships are:

  • Greta Holtmann - Simply Smile
  • Alissa Horz - Carino
  • Marie Kappelhoff - Dakota
  • Enya Keilbach - Cosimo
  • Helen Kretzschmar - Dinero
  • Caroline Locklair -  Top Zento
  • Enya Palm - Devil in Mind
  • Eva Rebhan - Pilgrim's Golden Boy
  • Lilli Richter- Golden Graciella
  • Olivia Schmitz-Morkramer - Proud Rockdandy
  • Greta Simon -  Down Under
  • Neele Staubermann - Ben
  • Ann Kathrin Voß - Der Elfenprinz

Noah Kuhlmann on Top Nemo, Mette Schön on Joker's Jungle Prince, Helena Esch on Dark Magic and Moritz Baumann on Grenzhoehes Ivory have been nomianted as reserves.
