Nicola Heyser-Burger has announced her resignation as the technical director for Dressage for the Swiss Equestrian Federation.

The German born Heyser was appointed dressage director in June 2015 and has been on the job a year and three months. Nicola has cited "personal reasons" for her resignation.

The Berne based Heyser explained her resignation as following: "I have been very happy to support that director's team dressage the past year. My own, increased duties as a trainer and competitor in dressage have made it impossible for me to do the job with the required flexibility and expected impartiality. Furthermore, my 12-year old daughter is a lot on the road to dressage and show jumping competitions and that is a priority for me."
