The Belgian owned Bundeschampion QC Flamboyant has been in training with Isabell Werth in Rheinberg, Germany, since December 2014. As of 2016 Werth's assistant trainer Niklaas Feilzer has begun competing the dark bay Oldenburg gelding at Prix St Georges level.

QC Flamboyant OLD is bred by Werner Meyer in Germany and owned by Belgian Patrick d'Eer. He is by Fidertanz x De Niro x Rubinstein.

Under German Marita Pundsack, QC Flamboyant made his first claim to fame by winning the 2013 Bundeschampionate as a 5-year old and then representing Germany at the 2014 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden, where they finished 14th in the Finals. At the 2014 Bundeschampionate they finished 4th.

In December 2014 D'Eer moved the dark bay gelding to Werth's yard to have the horse trained for an FEI level career. Isabell Werth competed him once in 2015 in the national Prix St Georges Special at the CDI Perl-Borg. They finished 4th in the warm up round but were eliminated from the Nurnberger Burgpokal qualification test as the gelding refused to go any further in the canter work.

In 2016 Werth's stable rider Niklaas Feilzer took over the ride on the 8-year old and competed him four times so far at M and S-level: in Monchengladbach (2nd), Kalkar (1st), Bergisch Gladbach (1st), and on 9 September 2016 in the Prix St Georges Special at the CDN Wurselen-Pley, where they won the class with 74.23%.

Patrick D'Eer owns the beautiful QC Stables in St. Niklaas, Belgium, but concentrates his horse business in Germany. In 2013 he had an incredibly successful year in Germany as his mare Calamity Jane won the Oldenburg Elite Mare Show in Rastede and the gelding Flamboyant the Bundeschampionate. An extraordinary feat to achieve two of the biggest young horse titles in Germany in the same year.

"I work a lot in Germany with good young horses because I get the best feeling there," D'Eer once told Eurodressage.
