An Eastern European league World Cup qualifier drew high performance riders from all over Europe to the inaugural international dressage competition at the Bajardo riding club in Augustowek near Warsaw, Poland, on 1 - 4 September 2016. Spanish Morgan Barbançon Mestre took the limelight in the World Cup leg of the show, while Polish riders shone in the National Championships hosted at this CDI-W.
The CDI-W Augustowek was a major hit as 3, 4 and 5* judges not only officiated in the international part of the competition, but also judged the national championship classes, which was highly appreciated by the riders.
