The 5-year old SilberStern and the 6-year old Loxley's Lovely were the winning horses in the small Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at Niershof equestrian centre in Mönchengladbach, Germany, on Sunday 10 July 2016. The 5-year old category was well filled, but only four 6-year olds showed up at the event.
Annabel Frenzen bagged two major wins in both divisions. With the 5-year old Rhinelander gelding SilberStern (by Silbermond x Raphael) she scored a winning 8.1. The dark bay gelding got 8 for walk, 7.5 for trot, 8.5 for canter and submission and 8 for general impression. German Under 25 team rider Juliette Piotrowski placed second aboard the Oldenburg bred Duke Rubin (by Decamerone x Rubinstein) with 7.6. The bay stallion got 7.5 for walk, trot, canter and submission and 8 for general impression.
In the 6-year old M-level dressage horse test, Frenzen steered her own Rhinelander mare Loxley's Lovely (by Lord Loxley x Andantino) to victory with 8.0. The chestnut mare got 7.5 for walk, 8 for trot and canter, 8.5 for submission and 8 for general impression. Heiner Schiergen and the Rhinelander gelding Furst Fohlenhof (by Fidertanz x Mephistopheles) were second with 7.2.. The chestnut gelding got 7 for walk, 8.5 for trot and 8 for canter, but was severely downscored for submission with a 5.5. The general impression was 7.0.
