The 5-year old Fashion Maker and the 6-year old Lassira B became the winners of the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the 2016 Rhinelander Regional Championships in Langenfeld, Germany, on 30 June 2016. Langenfeld was able to draw out a big field of competitors with eighteen 5-year olds and eleven 6-year olds contesting the L and M-level dressage horse test.
In the 5-year old division Ann Christin Wienkamp steered Stefan Holtwiesche's Westfalian licensed stallion Fashion Maker (by Furstenball x De Niro) to victory with an 8.2 total. The bay stallion got 8.5 for walk and trot, 8 for canter, 7.5 for submission and 8.5 for general impression. Marco Fernandez-Sanchez and Marga van den Heuvel's Rhinelander gelding Poleggio Boy VDH (by Poleggio x Sandro Hit) were the runners-up with 8.0. The chestnut gelding got 8.5 for walk, 8 for trot and canter, 7.5 for submission and 8 for general impression.
Christina Konings and the Hans Jurgen Briem's Rhinelander mare Lassira B (by Lissaro x Lancer II) won the M-level dressage horse test for 6-year olds with a total of 8.0. The bay mare earned 8.5 for walk, 8 for trot, 7.5 for canter, and 8 for submission and general impression. Katharina Hartmann and Best Babiacki's Rhinelander stallion Serano (by Son of Coligne x Donnerschwee) finished second with 7.4. The black stallion got 8 for walk, 7.5 for trot, 7 for canter and submission and 7.5 for general impression.
