Danish Allan Skov Christensen's Grand Prix horse Volstrupgaards Cassiopeia has been sold to 17-year old Danish junior rider Maria Dahl-Bruun.

The 15-year old Danish warmblood mare Volstrupgaards Cassiopeia is by Come Back II out of Fremad's Caletta (by Caletto III x Leonardo II). She is bred by Birgitte and Mogens Kløve-Mogensen

Under Skov the dark bay mare made her international Grand Prix debut in February 2013 at the CDI Vestfold. She has been shown for the past three years at several interntional events with steady upper sixty and seventy percentage scores in Villach, Vestfold, Nieuw en St Joosland, Kristiansand and Stockholm. In 2015 she only competed at one international at the CDIO Aalborg in June 2015. It was the pair's last show together.

Cassiopeia is also successful as a brood mare. She has produced two jumper foals who are now successful sport horses: Quela VG (by Quidam's Rubin) and Capaia VG (by Carson ASk). She was named elite mare as an 8-year old.

In February 2015 the mare almost sold to a Grand Prix rider abroad but the deal fell through. The mare will now continue her show career under Maria Dahl-Bruun, who has been competing the 13-year old Hanoverian Do It (by De Niro x Metternich) at international junior riders' level as of 2014.

Dahl-Bruun and Cassiopeia already made their show debut at a local event in Aalborg last week, where they scored 72.308% and 71.282% and qualified for the 2016 Danish Junior Riders Championships in August.
