The Spanish equestrian federation has announced the teams that will represent Spain on home turf at the 2016 European Championships for Children, Junior and Young Riders in Oliva Nova, Spain, on 29 - 24 July 2016.
The dressage committee of the Spanish equestrian federation (RFHE) and the RFHE dressage director Luis Lucio have picked a team in agreement with team trainer Nicky Barrett based on a short list of riders who have competed internationally this season as well as participated in national training sessions.
The Spanish teams for Oliva Nova are:
Children
- Clara Munoz Roldan - Capricho
- Casilda Rubio Breton - Daconte
- Roser Serrano Pons - Sander
- Ainhoa Vera Arias - Mosquetero
The reserve riders are Jessica Castro Cachinero (by Indiferent) and Bruno Cid Romero (Brentana).
Junior Riders
- Claudia Costas Nijhof - Zanzibar
- Carla de la Fuente - Fay or Capitel
- Elena Moncayola - Onix
- Natalia Bacariza Danguillecourt - Zoef
The reserve juniors are Adrian Roldan Narvaez (Forzento), Moises Segui Pons (Fandango d'Alo), and Gemma Guerrero Garriga (Airplane).
Young Riders
- Patricia Arroyo Baudet - Bacardi Krogsagergaard
- Antonio Laiz Zandio - Gejholms Menotti
- Maria Dolores Moncayola - Hierro
- Sofía Pachon Macias - Dacapo
The reserve young riders are Maria Igualdor (Red Diamond), Carolina Diaz Garcia (Don), and Karin Huskova (Florian).
