The 5-year old Seymour and the 6-year old Solo Dancer moved into the winner's circle by topping the Bundeschampionate qualification classes at the regional dressage show in Granderheide, Germany, on 10 - 12 June 2016. Twenty horses came to this show to earn an entry ticket for Warendorf.
Ten horses lined up for the 5-year old L-level dressage horse test and Christin Hilger aced the classa board the Hanoverian gelding Seymour (by Sarkozy x Don Primero). The horse scored 7.5 in total, which is not sufficient for a Bundeschampionate ticket. The dark bay gelding for 7.5 for walk and trot, 8 for canter, 7 for submission and 7.5 for general impression. Lena Berwe and the Hanoverian mare De La Rose (by Dancier x Frenchman) were second with 7.4. The black mare got 7 for walk, 8.5 for trot, 7.5 for canter, 6.5 for submission and 7.5 for general impression.
Friederike Wolf and the Hanoverian stallion Solo Dancer (by Sir Donnerhall x Feiner Stern) were the winners of the 6-year old division with 7.4. The bay stallion got 7 for walk and canter, 8 for trot, and 7.5 for submission and general impression. Klaus Thormalen and the Hanoverian stallion Savarez (by Sandro Hit x Rubinstein) were second with 7.2. The black stallion earned 7 for walk, 7.5 for trot and canter, 6.5 for submission and 7.5 for general impression.
