A team of four Swedish riders and a single Belgian have been selected to compete at the 2016 European Under 25 Championships in Hagen, Germany, on 16 - 19 June 2016.
Following the 2016 Swedish Dressage Championships in Stromsholm on 6 June 2016, chef d'equipe Tina Due-Boje announced the riders who will represent Sweden in Hagen.
- Marina Mattsson - Beckham
- Josefine Gyllensvärd - Don Angelo
- Mathilde Hanell - Deela Mae
- Sanna Nilsson - Lennox
Belgium will only be represented by one rider, Laurence Roos on the Belgian warmblood gelding Fil Rouge (by Sandro Hit x Argentinus).The pair won the Under 25 division at the CDI's in Deauville, Lier and Nieuw en St. Joosland.
Initially Alexa Fairchild and Vanita (by Jazz) were also in the running for a spot, but they withdrew. Fairchild recently switched trainers and she wants to solidify the new collaboration first.
