John Bierling Leaves KNHS for Dutch Olympic Committee

John Bierling, the managing director of the Dutch Equestrian Federation (KNHS), will be resigning from his position to take up the job of corporate director of the Dutch Olympic Sports Committee NOC*NSF.

Bierling has headed the KNHS since 2006 and will now be leaving the federation for the NOC*NSF on 1 September 2016.

After 10 years with the Dutch Equestrian Federation, Bierling is ready for a change.

"I feel I'm ready for a new challenge," said Bierling. "When the NOC*NSF approached me for the job of corporate director it was a great moment to take the next step in my career. It's fantastic to help in the development of all sports in The Netherlands with all sport federations and highly motivated colleagues in Papendal (NOC headquarters)."
