Australian FEI rider Genevieve Kirk has acquired the 11-year old Danish warmblood gelding - Royal Pokemon from Estonian Grand Prix rider Dina Ellermann.

Royal Pokemon is bred at Liivaku Stables and is by Royal Diamond out of Heslegards Louisa (by Heslegards Louis).

Dina Ellermann trained the grey gelding from novice to FEI level. The pair represented Estonia at the 2010 World Young Horse Championships in Verden, Germany. In 2014 and 2015 he contested the small tour levels at CDI's in Eastern Europe.

Kirk purchased Royal Pokemon at the end of 2015.

"I am hoping we can step in to the U25 scene together, but we still need time for me to catch up to him,(!) and our confidence to grow in eachother. He has been absolutely brilliant so far, I was extremely lucky to have found him."

The 23-year old Genevieve Kirk relocated from Geneva, Switzerland to Germany to train with Hayley Beresford almost five years ago. In 2013 and 2014 she competed schoolmaster Moosbends Ricardos and First Wish at Young Riders level across Europe. She did not compete internationally in 2015 and hopes to make a come back to the CDI ring with Royal Pokemon.
