Sir Sansibar Moves to Muhlen

The Trakehner licensed stallion Sir Sansibar has moved to Paul Schockemohle's stallion station in Muhlen, Germany, where he will stand up for stud and continue his training.

Bred by Norbert Timm of Gestut Hohenschmark, the black Sir Sansibar is by Millennium out of Susaya (by Cadeau x Lehndorff's).

He was named champion of the 2014 Trakehner Stallion Licensing in Neumunster, Germany, and sold at auction for 300,000 euro to Eva-Maria Aufrecht from Gestut Unter den Birken in Austria.

The now 4-year old colt stood his first year at stud at Gestut Galmbacher in Umpfenbach, Germany. Jana Haarlammert competed him in two riding horses classes in 2015.

Sir Sansibar did his 50-day Stallion Performance Test in Schlieckau, in January-February 2016 and scored a strong 8.29 total with 7.5 for walk and 8 for trot anc canter. The guest judge rider scored him 9.75 for rideabiity and he earned 9.5 for character and behaviour.

Sir Sansibar has now joined the Schockemohle stallion roster.
