Six New Zealand Riders Already Qualified for 2017 Pacific League World Cup Finals

With less than a year to go until New Zealand will host the 2017 Pacific League World Cup Final at Manfeild stadium on 3 - 4 February 2017, six home country combinationas are currently already qualified for the Finals. It will be the first time since 1999 that New Zealand has hosted the Pacific League World Cup Final, when it was held at Ti Papa.

Riders from New Zealand and Australia will contest the final with the winner being eligible to travel to the 2017 World Cup Finals being held in Omaha, Nebraska, U.S.A.

Pacific League combinations must qualify with at least one score of 64% in the Freestyle at either a CDI 3* or CDI-W between 1 January and 31 Decelber 2016.

"Dressage NZL has committed to running an indoor CDI-W at Manfeild in conjunction with Central Districts Championships on 28 - 29 October 2016 to give New Zealand based riders another opportunity to qualify in addition to Horse of the Year 2016,"  NZL Equestrian stated.

The six New Zealand combinations which are already quaified for the League Finals are Wendi Williamson (Dejavu MH), John Thompson (Antonello), Julie Brougham (Vom Feinsten), Abbie Deken (KH Ambrose), Anya Noble (Airthrey Highlander) and Jody Hartstone (Ali Baba).
