Dutch pony team rider Zoe Kuintjes aced the second leg of the 2015-2016 KNHS FEI Pony Cup which took place at equestrian centre Lichtenvoorde on Saturday 23 January 2016. It was a close top three finish in Vragender with experience landed the first slot and young talent knocking at the door.
Zo Kuintjes and her German bred grey gelding Elin's Noncisdador (by Nostradamus) received the high score of the day for the trophy: 71.15%.
Judge Willemien Blanken, who was assisted by colleagues José Huberts and Monoca Drohm, said: "Zoe went so well. She rode very harmoniously and it all looks like it goes by itself. One small point of improvement is the contact which could be a bit better and more steady."
Kim Noordijk and the beautiful black Brasil (by Sandokan's Leonardo) slotted in second with 71.11, while Marten Luiten followed in third place aboard Movie Star (by Hagelkruis Valentijn) with 70.98%.
"Kim showed experience and she rides in a very beautiful, friendly way," said judge Blanken. "Marten is a very honest rider and really rides the movements meticulously. He had a very nice contact with the bit."
