Dutch team rider Hans Peter Minderhoud has received the ride on the KWPN licensed stallion Dream Boy, which was previously trained and competed by Gerdine Maree.

Dream Boy is a black 8-year old Dutch warmblood stallion by Vivaldi x Ferro x Balzflug. He is owned horse dealers Tim Coomans and Jacques Maree in partnership with Stable Brinkman.

Dream Boy was the first licensed offspring by Vivaldi in The Netherlands. He scored 78,5 points on his Stallion Performance Test in 2011

Under Gerdine Maree the stallion was one of Holland's most succesful young horses. He finished fourth in the 2013 Pavo Cup Finals and 14th in the 2013 World Young Horse Championships finals in Verden. He was second in the 2014 KWPN Stallion Competition. The highlight of his career so far was winning a bronze medal at the 2014 World Young Horse Championships in Verden.

"I am very happy to ride Dream Boy. He is a very talented horse, likes to work and has such a positive character. He has everything a Grand Prix horse needs. Our first show will probably be the KWPN stallion licensing in February," said Hans Peter.
