The Dutch Equestrian Federation (KNHS) has announced that it will not incorporate the -2% deduction on the tests sheets for young riders, Under 25 and senior riders for the small, medium and big tour level tests.

At the 2015 FEI General Assembly, the FEI decided to implement a new rule which calls for a -2% score deduction in case the rider goes off course and elimination if s/he goes off course twice.

The Netherlands strongly objected the new rule at the Assembly and has now decided that for national level test in Holland the deduction will not be implemented as of 1 January 2016. Riders competing at CDN events in The Netherlands will not get the -2% penalization off their total score if they ride a programme error in their test.

"On the KNHS test sheets the FEI rule change will not be carried out and to avoid confusion the FEI logo has been removed from the sheets," said the press officier of the Dutch Equestrian Federation.
