Dorothee Schneider and the Hanoverian bred Santiago proved to be on form for the 2015 Nurnberger Burgpokal Finals for developing Prix St Georges horses. The duo won the warm up class, the Prix St Georges Special, on Friday morning 18 December 2015 at the 2015 CDI Frankfurt. The Finals take place on Saturday noon.

The warm up class was judged by an all German panel consisting of Dietrich Plewa, Dieter Schüle, Katrina Wüst, Evi Eisenhardt and Peter Holler.

Schneider and Alexander Stolzke's 8-year old Santiago (by Stedinger x Dacaprio) were a league of their own, scoring 76.024% to leave all competition far behind them.

Heiner Schiergen and the Erbe family's Rhinelander bred Carlos (by Carabas x Weltmeyer) were the runners-up with 73.585%. The dark bay Carlos already became the 2015 European Junior Rider Championship individual test gold medal winner under Hanna Erbe last July.

Matthias Bouten and Marianne Jerich's Fraulein Auguste (by Florencio x Worldly) slotted in third with 73.317%
