Alizee Froment has resigned as French pony team trainer after five years being on the post. She will be replaced by Muriel Leonardi as of 2016.

Froment took up the job as French pony team trainer in December 2010, taking over the post from Claire Gosselin. Froment was very communicative about her plans with French pony dressage and was strict yet supportive to her pony riders.

The French pony team achieved progressive results in the five years that Froment was on the job. At the 2015 European Pony Championships the team finished sixth and French Lea Bonifay was 12th in the Kur to Music Finals. At the 2014 European Pony Championships the French team was 9th and Clarissa Stickland was 15th in the Kur. The team was 5th in 2013 and Camille Boireau finished 14th in the Kur. In 2012 the French team landed 7th place and Carolien Faujour was 12th in the Kur. At Froment's first Europeans in 2011 the team was 7th and Joy Albeck landed 14th place in the kur. The pony Tim was instrumental for Kur places as he took three different riders to the Kur to Music finals (Albeck, Faujour, Bonifay).

Froment is now moving on and focusing on her own Grand Prix career and natural horsemanship exhibition and show rides.

"Since a few months, my career has taken a new turn and my time schedule no longer allows me to be available as much as before or what the federation requires to fulfil the job. This post needs to be covered by someone who can be commited 100%," said Froment. "After exploring the options we have mutually agreed for me to make this well thought through decision."
