Rihanna, Top Seller at 2015 Marbach Riding Horse Auction

The 7-year old state premium mare Rihanna became the top selling horse at the 2015 Marbach Riding Horse Auction held on Sunday 8 November 2015 in Marbach, Germany.

The German Sport Horse mare Rihanna (by Relius x Akzento), bred by Axel Pelikowsky and owned by Danny Freudenberg, sold for 68,000 euro to the United States.

The second most expensive horse of the auction was the 7-year old Baden Wurttemberger bred mare Dream Star (by Don Schufro x Rubinstein) which achieved a knock down price of 40,000 euro. This mare was bred and owned by Kurt Fink and will move to Switzerland.

The recently approved stallion Freeman GE (by Furstenball) sold for 37,000 euro to Austria.

The average price for a horse at this auction was 21,451 euro.
