The chestnut colt Travertin became the price highlight of the Trakehner Foal Auction held annually at the Trakehner championships in Hanover. The Rheinklang offspring, bred by Gisela Gunia, sold for 11,000 euro to a local client.

Torrential downpours meddled with the summer conditions of the foal auction, which is usually set in brilliant weather.

Eighteen foals in total were offered for auction and six foals sold for 9,000 euro or more. None of the foals sold abroad and none of the other knock down prices were published either.
